Wanting to be a designer and everything, i always keep an keen eye out for what i deem really fashionable and stylish, so having given a chance to attend the Topman/Topshop We Are One Party at Ion was just perfect.

I must say, Topman has really lived up to their style. Infusing the latest trend while keeping it wearable is awesome. Be ready to see leather jackets, beanies, checkered shirts and boots for guys this autumn. Okay, perhaps not in sunny singapore, but Lookbook.nu instead. Though i must say, guys, you can always play it down a lil and add a touch of summer to this season's latest trend. Topman is currently focusing on Military, Grindstone and Comtemporary Punk. Although many would think jackets first when told these three style, i beg to differ! Why not a t-shirt with military details? Sounds comfortability chic to me.

^Comtemporary punk, my favorite of the three.

P.s. Totally diggin the checkered shirt with beanie look.

(Seems like the stripes hasnt died out yet!)

Topshop on the other hand played heavily with details and loads and loads of lace. One model wore a lace crop top with a lace skirt while wearing lace leggings. Think she would look like a fashion victim? Hell no. She was chic chic and chic. I must say, topshop really put in a lot of effort in the details. Im referring to the clothes by the way.

Layering dominated the entire runway and it was both prominent for topman and topshop and i must say, singaporeans should really do it too. Just choose thinner materials! Sheer materials are pretty common, just swop the camisole for something for surprising!

My favority outfit of the night. (There was so many to choose from, but i just couldnt forget this one.) I really like the floral lace legging that was seen on so many models. Seriously considering getting it, but my calfs are so huge, leggings and stockings just dont seem like a good idea! Although i must say it's prolly high time i get my long waited wedges!

Dark noveau is my favorite collection of all the collection Topshop has. The idea of layering black on black makes me flutter with excitement, not to mention that there are studs and boots too. Yummmmmmm.

The whole set up of the party was really cool. It was in the lvl 8 carpark of ion orchard. Really stylish fans were provided and there were electronic fans in the carpark too. (you dont want everyone's make up to be melting!) Frolick, blackberry, coca cola zero, some beer company which i cant rmb and the coolest of all baicapture set up a booth there. Baicapture is something like neoprints but you get to dress up and you dont get to edit it. So watching all the fashionista grab props and pout to the camera was pretty darn cool. Seems like the pictures arent up on their website yet. I'll upload it once it's up!

I think i havent mention the soundtrack yet. Brit pop was playing and it really set the mood. It wasnt mainstream like kesha or katy perry which made it cooler.

Celebrities were at the party too and I saw Shaan and Ross, Patricia Mok (who was really very well dressed. ) and Andie Chan. My sis saw the muttons too! (Who then gave her a mutton sandich and cover her boobs with the fan provided.)

The party was really pretty awesome (even though i skipped the clubbing/partying part that had dj angmoh.) overall and i cant wait for my next runway show!
